It was an amazing stay and we are already missing it.

Positive: Nicely designed and fully equipped apartment with the kitchen and a spectacular view of the harbor. There’s plenty of space, and it’s good for up to 6 people. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and neighborhood was exceptionally friendly. There are several nice beaches in the walking distance, even in the beginning of April it was comfortable to swim. Amazing stay with a spectacular view of the harbour

It was a pleasant stay in this nice apartment, which is conveniently located near all the necessary facilities and popular tourist destinations. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and everything needed for up to 6 people. It is nicely furnished and decorated. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly. We are grateful to Alfred who met us and was helping us during the stay and departure. We are already missing this place. Hope to eventually return there again.

La proximité des commerces est un véritable plus. Sejour inoubliable. MERCI Dodo et Tartine. Je recommande vivement ce bel appartement. Negative: Rien, tout à été apprécié. On ne s'attendait pas à une telle prestation.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for a month with sunshine and temperatures mild...

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for a month with sunshine and temperatures mild enough for daily walking, as I was recovering from knee replacement surgery in December. Toulon, France, was the perfect choice -- sunshine almost every day and temps in the 50's and 60's, which for us is perfect walking weather. The apartment in La Corvette (name of the building) with views over the harbor on one side and the city/mountains on the other was also amazing. Located on the 14th floor in one of 4 high rises overlooking the harbor, it is exactly as pictured in the vrbo website -- modern, very clean, with up-to-date bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with an expresso machine for coffee lovers. The only thing missing was a bread knife (so we used steak knives), and you definitely want to eat bread while in France! All vrbo listings tell you if the bathroom has a shower or tub, but what they don't tell you is how well the shower works. This shower is an A+! The rainfall shower head has good pressure, but the hand-held shower head has even better water pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen contains a washer/dryer combo appliance which worked well. We loved the location of this apartment. Sunshine sparkling on water, with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises were the norm. Lots of naval activity to watch - they were gathering for a naval exercise while we were there. Close to necessities, all on Blvd Bazeilles: pharmacy, small grocery store, Carrefour City, and La Flambée, a great pizza/Italian restaurant. Walk a few blocks further to Rue Lamalgue and turn south toward the beaches you will find some unique shops and a few additional restaurants. On many days we walked from the apartment along Av. de l'Enfanterie de Marine toward the city center (I was counting steps, so a trip there and back to the apartment, for me, was in the neighborhood of 7,000 steps; when we explored further into the city center, I hit closer to 10,000 steps). There is a huge open air market in the plaza where the Tourist Info Center is located, held almost every day. Along the Quai de la Sinse are many restaurants with patio seating overlooking the harbor. We especially enjoyed seafood and lamb dishes at La Lampa, the desserts at Crêperie du Port (BEST crepes ever) and the ice cream sundaes at Le Navigateur a bit further down the quai. SO many good bakeries (boulangeries) from which to choose! Highly recommend this apartment.

Nice an spacious apartment near the beach

Nice and very spacious apartment in Toulon at walking distance to an public beach with bars and restaurants. Clean, modern and completely updated apartment. The only thing was that the air-condition in the bedrooms didn’t function correctly and had to be restarted/rebooted every time. Good be solved very easily!

Positive: Location Views of the city, sea and port are extremely amazing. Big rooms and fully equipped with everything. Dedicated car parking. Air conditioned. Negative: It has a only a Non refundable option. Very tough timing for check in and out, and any delays will cost you money. A guarantee of 600 euros will be blocked in advance and won’t be released before completing at least two days of the stay. It’s at the 14th floor, and just one elevator is taking you there and it was out of service at the check out !

Vue imprenable sur la rade de Toulon

Appartement très bien situé à 10 minutes à pieds du port et de ses nombreux restaurants et bars et à 15 minutes du centre Mayol. La vue du 14ème étage sur la rade est magnifique et l´appartement traversant est très agréable à vivre et très bien équipé.

Could have been 'superb' with managers that care about the guests

Positive: Magnificent view, large apartment with modern renovation, location, wood-fired pizza truck outside building. Negative: The bathroom (no toilet inside) had a very strong urine stench some days (3 of 9 days) - I suspect something is wrong in the plumbing of the building above this apartment. The earliest check-in (without addition fee) is 18:00! Only 1 key provided - I was told I needed to ask in advance and it would be an extra charge for them to bring a 2nd back. The booking managers act like they are very professional but they seem more concerned about emailing all their rules and getting a review than my experience as a guest (my 600 euro damage deposit had still not been returned after a week so I chased up - but maybe I should be thankful it didn't take the maximum 30 days stated in their rules).

Positive: Appartamento molto bello, spazioso e luminoso. Posizione fantastica con vista sul porto di Toulon. Negative: La cucina era molto fredda rispetto a tutte le altre stanze per un difetto di chiusura della finestra. Nelle giornate ventose non era possibile mangiare nel tavolo in cucina.

Corvette one of the best places in Toulon

The apartment was amazing, clean, with a very nice view and good location. Alfred waited for us and he was polite and supportive.
